Description
Think about waiting for the sunset facing rows of vineyards and olive trees that ‘stretched in never-ending line’ along the Tuscan hills. Then, suppose to have the possibility of ‘recollecting into tranquility your emotion’ with a gorgeous dinner, not to forget V. Woolf’s advice: “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one hasn’t eaten well“.
After a panoramic drive in Lucca countryside, we’ll arrive in Montecarlo, a medieval village in the heart of Tuscany. We will walk through this tiny hamlet, picturesquely sited on the hill, where a glorious fortress still overlooks the surroundings.
We’ll then reach the wine estate where you will learn the different phases of Tuscan DOC wine and extra-virgin olive oil production. You will also get to know quite well the famous Montecarlo wine to finally enjoy the tasting of their extra-virgin olive oil served on a nice ‘bruschetta’ and accompanied by few glasses of Montecarlo wine.
You’ll ready to enjoy a delicious T-BONE STEAK DINNER in the nearby restaurant, where you will end the wine tasting during the Tuscan meal. You will have the traditional Tuscan ‘antipasto’ as starters, then, one of the Tuscan highlights: the Florentine T-bone steak, served with beans seasoned by Montecarlo extra-virgin olive oil. After this you’ll be truly fascinated by the reflections of the setting sun rays of light on the little glass full of the Tuscan sweet dessert wine: like sea at the sunset, where you will dip your Cantuccini (Tuscan biscuits)!
