Along the valleys of Lucca and in the plain of Monte Pisani we’ll admire the beautiful country villas. Most of them were summer residences of noble Italian families and are real examples of different architectural stiles in Tuscany. We’ll visit the most famous: Villa Torrigiani and Villa Reale and we’ll remain delighted by the view of their interior design as well as their elegant gardens garnished by lovely sculptures.
*Villa Torrigiani, amazing 16th century villa, in which the baroque ornamental elements are harmoniously clustered with the original architecture. The main alley with magnificent cypresses make a perfect opening of the spectacular villa with a suggestive multicolored facade and its garden with fountains, jets of water the delicate scent of numerous varieties of ornamental plants.
*Villa Reale, the historical villa of the timeless elegance and refined charm, was the favorite of the Duchess of Lucca and Napoleon’s sister Elisa Baciocchi who was also enchanted by its amazing 16 hectares estate with numerous refined gardens and botanic rarities.
