This special harvest activity in Tuscany will start in the morning, the perfect timing to let you enjoy the activity to the fullest thanks to the presence of a gentle breeze and a warm temperature. In the ancient wine estate you will meet with the owner, who is going to tell you the history of his property, and all the traditions that were passed to him by his father. You will learn more about the wine making process and discover the different kinds of wine produced by the owner of the wine estate. Wine and extra-virgin oil making are both very antique Italian crafts, which were and still are regularly passed down within the family, usually father to son. Therefore, you will have the chance to sense an authentic Tuscan traditional experience.
Once the olive harvest activity is completed, you will enjoy a delicious Tuscan lunch with several traditional delicacies. You will start from a rich appetizer, where you will find the classic Italian tomato bruschetta together with the ‘basic’ bruschetta with extra-virgin olive oil, only the best genuine food for you! The exquisite lunch will continue with Tuscan cold cuts, pecorino cheese (very reach in flavor because it is obtained with sheep milk instead of cow milk) and some Tuscan olives, being able to understand the passion and the commitment necessary to harvest them, thus appreciating them even more!
